Peter Kendall raises another £680.00

.

The Chloe Bigmore Trust was delighted to receive a further £680.00 from Peter Kendall who raised this money by collecting and selling items donated from local shops and companies.

 

Some of Our Recent and Ongoing Fundraising Projects

 

In June 2011 Alex Ford ran 50 miles from Brecon to Cardiff and raised £1,100 for the charity

 

The Drovers Run staged on the 27th of November 2011 was a great success and the first race that the Chloe Bigmore Trust had organised.

We had fantastic help from the Brackla Harriers and the Pencoed Tri Club.

The event generated £1089.12 for the charity

On the 15th of October 2011 A musical concert was organised by Mike and Norma Ridout at St Davids Church Laleston.

The concert featured the Mid Glamorgan mixed choir and there were solo performances from Rachel Starritt and Aled Williams

The concert raised £420.00 for the charity.

 

Paul Ezzard ran the Snowdonia Marathon for the Chloe Bigmore trust and raised £520.00 in sponsorship

  Paul and Lesley Bigmore are trustees to the charity “the Chloe Bigmore Trust” which was set up in 2008 after the loss of their daughter Chloe Bigmore to a very rare cancer .Chloe was only 13 years old when diagnosed and passed away 11 months later. You can read about Chloe’s story on the website.

The charities aim is to purchase a holiday flat in the charities name for the use of other families with seriously ill children.


 

 A CD has been produced  with a collection of tracks from musicals which had a special importance to Chloe.

The track "FOR GOOD" which is from the stage musical "WICKED" was featured in the programme "Tonights the Night" with John Barrowman and was performed beautifully by Mari & Lowri Izzard two of Chloe's closest friends.
